Senior Data Engineer – Remote from EU/US Business Hours Overlap

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Design and create robust data pipelines utilizing Databricks and AWS S3.

• Play a key role in the implementation and advancement of the Lakehouse Medallion Architecture.

• Integrate and centralize data from various internal systems.

• Comprehend and work with ERDs and data models, including principles such as data grain and join cardinality.

• Develop, validate, and troubleshoot data transformations and pipelines.

• Conduct unit testing and data validation independently post-development.

• Collaborate closely with teams operating across the US time zone.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience as a Senior Data Engineer.

• Practical experience with Databricks, AWS S3, and contemporary data lakehouse architectures.

• Strong understanding of data modeling, ERDs, data grain, and join cardinality.

• Proven experience in designing and developing production-quality data pipelines.

• Capability to independently conduct unit tests and validate developed solutions.

• Proficiency in English at a C1 level, with excellent communication skills.

• Ability to work remotely from the EU while aligning with US working hours and maintaining significant time-zone overlap.
