Senior Data Engineer, Palantir Focus

📋 Description

• Engage in key strategic data initiatives.

• Develop and manage dependable, scalable data products on clients' Palantir-based data platform.

• Architect, construct, and sustain scalable data pipelines and products utilizing Palantir.

• Create data transformations with Python and PySpark.

• Construct robust ETL/ELT workflows that integrate various data sources.

• Write optimized SQL for data transformation and analytical purposes.

• Design and uphold data models tailored for analytical use cases.

• Collaborate with business and analytics stakeholders to convert requirements into effective data solutions.

• Guarantee data quality and reliability via testing, monitoring, and CI/CD practices.

• Examine data to detect inconsistencies and areas for enhancement.

• Document solutions and contribute to best practices in data engineering.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related discipline.

• Demonstrated experience as a Senior Data Engineer.

• Proficient Python skills with practical PySpark experience.

• Strong SQL expertise and ETL background.

• Comprehensive understanding of data modeling and analytical data design.

• Analytical mindset with a keen focus on data quality and consistency.

• Familiarity with data testing, monitoring, and CI/CD methodologies.

• Experience with Palantir Foundry is a significant advantage.

• Background in agile environments and use of collaboration tools – preferred.

• Excellent communication abilities.

• Professional proficiency in English (B2/C1 level).

• Must be currently residing in Portugal or Spain.
