Senior Data Engineer – Microsoft Fabric Support

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Offer assistance and develop data solutions utilizing Microsoft Fabric

• Create, sustain, and enhance data ingestion, processing, and transformation pipelines

• Design and advance Lakehouse architectures within the Microsoft Fabric framework

• Create ETL/ELT processes, ensuring effective and dependable data processing

• Oversee pipelines, data loads, and data processes, identifying failures and areas for enhancement

• Manage incidents and perform root-cause analyses to maintain solution stability and availability

• Implement performance adjustments and optimize pipelines and transformation processes

• Guarantee data quality, integrity, security, and availability

• Support critical environments and ensure adherence to established service levels

• Create new data components and solutions based on project requirements

• Document architectures, pipelines, processes, support procedures, and developed solutions

• Provide technical assistance to colleagues by sharing knowledge and best practices

• Collaborate with Data, BI, Analytics, Technology, and business teams

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong experience as a Data Engineer, ideally in highly complex enterprise settings

• Practical experience with Microsoft Fabric – required

• Proficient knowledge of SQL

• Experience with Python and/or PySpark for data processing and transformation

• Understanding of data pipeline development and support

• Familiarity with ETL/ELT processes

• Knowledge of data modeling

• Experience with Lakehouse architecture

• Experience in monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving issues in data pipelines

• Capability to work on both support tasks and new development projects

• Microsoft certifications related to Microsoft Fabric, Azure, or Data Engineering (a plus)

• Experience supporting critical environments and fulfilling SLAs (a plus)

• Understanding of data governance, security, and quality (a plus)

• Experience with Power BI (a plus)

• Advanced knowledge of Lakehouse architectures (a plus)

• Experience migrating and modernizing data platforms to Microsoft Fabric (a plus)

• Experience in monitoring and optimizing performance in data environments (a plus)

• Experience working on large-scale projects and in intricate enterprise environments (a plus)
