Senior Data Engineer – Microsoft Fabric Support

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Provide assistance and create data solutions utilizing Microsoft Fabric.

• Construct, sustain, and enhance data ingestion, processing, and transformation pipelines.

• Design and advance Lakehouse architectures within the Microsoft Fabric framework.

• Create ETL/ELT processes, ensuring effective and dependable data handling.

• Oversee pipelines, data loads, and data operations, pinpointing failures and areas for enhancement.

• Address incidents and perform root cause analyses.

• Implement performance tweaks and optimize pipelines and transformation methods.

• Guarantee data quality, integrity, security, and accessibility.

• Support critical environments and ensure adherence to defined service levels.

• Develop new data components and solutions to meet project requirements.

• Document architectures, pipelines, processes, support methodologies, and created solutions.

• Offer technical assistance to fellow team members by sharing knowledge and best practices.

• Collaborate with Data, BI, Analytics, Technology, and business teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong background as a Data Engineer, ideally in complex enterprise settings.

• Practical experience with Microsoft Fabric – mandatory.

• Proficient in SQL.

• Experience with Python and/or PySpark for data processing and transformation.

• Familiarity with constructing and supporting data pipelines.

• Experience with ETL/ELT processes.

• Understanding of data modeling.

• Familiarity with Lakehouse architecture.

• Experience in monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving issues within data pipelines.

• Capability to engage in both support tasks and new development projects.

• Microsoft certifications related to Microsoft Fabric, Azure, or Data Engineering are advantageous.

• Knowledge of data governance, security, and quality is beneficial.

• Experience with Power BI is a plus.

• Advanced understanding of Lakehouse architectures is a bonus.

• Experience with large-scale projects and intricate enterprise environments is a plus.
