Senior Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain scalable data pipelines utilizing Microsoft Azure Fabric.

• Construct dependable ETL/ELT processes for both structured and unstructured data.

• Collaborate with business teams to comprehend data requirements and convert them into technical solutions.

• Enhance data processing workflows for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.

• Utilize AI-assisted development tools and modern engineering methodologies to boost delivery speed and solution quality.

• Diagnose production issues and proactively seek enhancements.

• Work in conjunction with architects, analysts, and developers throughout the project lifecycle.

• Assume accountability for quality, timelines, and outcomes with minimal supervision.

• Employ AI and automation to address challenges, enhance engineering productivity, and provide superior solutions.

• Identify risks early, seek clarification when needed, and keep stakeholders updated.

• Adjust priorities while adhering to delivery commitments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of practical experience as a Data Engineer.

• Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure Fabric, Databricks, and Azure data services.

• Strong understanding of SQL and data modeling principles.

• Proven experience in constructing enterprise-grade data pipelines and data integration solutions.

• Proficiency in Python, Spark, or similar technologies is preferred.

• Experience working with cloud-based data platforms in production settings.

• Willingness to engage with global teams and align with the U.S. East Coast during critical discussions, up to 1:00 PM ET as required.
