Senior Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete lifecycle of AI systems, focusing on development, maintenance, and support.

• Create applications and infrastructure while integrating AI into current systems.

• Execute fixes, enhancements, adaptations, and manage data migrations.

• Document processes, derive insights from data, and provide training to teams.

• Ingest, process, and automate extensive data flows, including pipelines and ETL.

• Develop, monitor, and enhance databases and data warehouses.

• Establish access policies and ensure protection for sensitive data.

• Implement CI/CD pipelines (DevOps).

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related IT discipline.

• 5 years of experience in information technology, focusing on development, systems maintenance, data analysis, database administration, or similar fields.

• Experience in developing projects that utilize AI, including Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and/or Generative AI.

• Demonstrated hands-on experience in data engineering projects, ideally within a corporate or industrial setting.

• Proficient in Python, Java, Scala, and scripting tools for automating tasks.

• Familiarity with Big Data, SQL/NoSQL databases, AWS/Azure/GCP cloud platforms, and orchestration methods.

• Understanding of Machine Learning models, Generative AI, Python libraries, and API integration.

• Experience in processing large data volumes.

• Knowledge of agile methodologies such as Scrum/Kanban.
