This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Design and develop robust data solutions that facilitate scalable analytics and enable data-driven decision-making throughout the organization.
• Oversee the maintenance of the tools and technologies that constitute the foundation of the company’s data capabilities.
• Lead the creation and implementation of data pipelines to ingest, aggregate, and index a variety of data sources into the data warehouse.
• Drive the development of a data warehousing platform that adheres to SOC2 security and compliance standards.
• Collaborate with data analytics teams to support the reporting and analysis of crucial business metrics.
• Work alongside data science and machine learning teams to develop scalable capabilities for generating insights and leveraging LLMs.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to engineers within the data team.
• Establish cross-functional partnerships with Engineering, Analytics, Finance, Backend Engineering, Business Intelligence, Security, and Machine Learning teams.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in architecting and implementing large-scale enterprise data solutions.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience with contemporary data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, and Redshift.
• A strong understanding of the architectural principles governing modern data platforms.
• Over 2 years of experience in designing and optimizing high-volume, real-time, and batch ETL pipelines.
• At least 1 year of experience in coaching and mentoring team members.
• Demonstrated ability to excel in startup environments.
• A proactive mindset and a passion for instigating meaningful change.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and independently drive projects forward.
• An advanced degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States; Runpod is currently unable to sponsor employment visas.
