Senior Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with business teams to identify their needs and convert requirements into scalable data solutions that align with the organization's goals.

• Oversee requirements-gathering initiatives and outline business processes and data flows across various systems.

• Design and manage data engineering solutions within Microsoft Azure.

• Construct and enhance data pipelines utilizing Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks.

• Integrate, transform, and prepare data for analytical purposes.

• Develop and sustain ETL/ELT processes.

• Implement cloud data environment migration and modernization initiatives.

• Design and refine data models.

• Establish and uphold CI/CD pipelines.

• Enforce data governance, security, and quality standards.

• Monitor and resolve issues within data pipelines and processes.

• Create and manage analytical solutions using Power BI.

• Enhance the performance and scalability of data environments.

• Document processes, solutions, and architectures comprehensively.

• Work in collaboration with Data, BI, Engineering, Technology, and Business teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

• Demonstrated experience as a Data Engineer.

• In-depth knowledge of Power BI.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure solutions, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure SQL Data Warehouse.

• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines.

• Understanding of data modeling, data governance, and security best practices.

• Background in cloud migration projects and modernization of data environments.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively collaborate in multidisciplinary teams.

• Azure DP-203 certification or equivalent is advantageous.
