This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify needs and convert requirements into scalable data solutions that align with organizational goals.
• Lead initiatives for gathering requirements and mapping business processes along with data flows across various systems.
• Establish and verify business rules, metrics, KPIs, and corporate indicators.
• Design and enhance data models for Data Warehouse, Data Lake, and Lakehouse environments.
• Define strategies for dimensional modeling, including facts, dimensions, granularity, and their relationships.
• Create data architectures utilizing Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Data Lake, and Power BI.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and traceability throughout data pipelines.
• Set standards for data ingestion, transformation, quality, and delivery across Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers.
• Act as a technical reference for Data Engineering, BI, and Analytics teams.
• Support the implementation of solutions, ensuring they align with architectural and business definitions.
• Generate documentation for data models, business rules, and corporate indicators.
• Extensive experience in data modeling for analytical environments (Data Warehouse, Data Lake, or Lakehouse), including dimensional modeling and the specification of facts, dimensions, metrics, indicators, and granularity.
• Proven ability to gather and translate business requirements into data solutions, aiding in the definition and standardization of corporate metrics and indicators.
• Experience in data architecture projects, integration of multiple information sources, and governance, quality, and traceability of data.
• Strong consultative skills for working with business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Proficient in advanced SQL, Data Warehouse and/or Lakehouse, Azure Data Factory (ADF), Databricks, Azure Data Lake Storage, Power BI, Semantic Modeling, and Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, and Gold).
• Preferred: Experience with Microsoft Fabric.
• Preferred: Familiarity with Data Vault.
• Preferred: Experience in defining a Single Source of Truth (SSOT).
• Preferred: Knowledge of Master Data Management (MDM).
• Preferred: Experience with data catalog and governance tools.
• Preferred: Experience in modernizing Data Warehouses to Lakehouse architectures.
• Preferred: Microsoft Azure Data Engineer Associate certification or equivalent.
