Senior Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with business teams to convert business requirements into scalable data solutions that align with organizational goals.

• Collect requirements and outline data processes, workflows, and integrations.

• Establish business rules, metrics, KPIs, and performance indicators.

• Design and refine data models for Data Warehouse, Data Lake, and Lakehouse environments.

• Develop dimensional modeling strategies, taking into account facts, dimensions, relationships, and granularity.

• Create and advance data architectures on Azure and AWS, utilizing services such as ADF, ADLS, Databricks, S3, Glue, and Redshift.

• Set standards for data ingestion, transformation, quality, and delivery across Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers.

• Ensure the quality, consistency, and traceability of data.

• Act as a technical reference for Data Engineering and Analytics teams.

• Document architectures, data models, and business rules.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in data modeling and architecture for analytical environments.

• Familiarity with Data Warehouses, Data Lakes, and/or Lakehouses, as well as dimensional modeling.

• Proven experience in gathering and translating business requirements into data solutions.

• Advanced proficiency in SQL.

• Experience with Azure, specifically ADF, ADLS, and Databricks.

• Knowledge of or experience with AWS, particularly S3, Glue, and Redshift.

• Understanding of Semantic Modeling and Medallion Architecture.

• Experience in data governance, quality, and traceability.

• Ability to work collaboratively with business stakeholders and technical teams.
