Senior Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain data pipelines, transformations, and integrations utilizing cloud technologies, SQL, and Python.

• Execute and assist in analytics solutions leveraging Adobe Analytics, Adobe Launch, and Adobe Customer Journey Analytics (CJA).

• Create tracking strategies, event collection plans, and technical specifications aligned with business and measurement objectives.

• Aid in data modeling, data validation, data quality, and reporting procedures.

• Engage with cloud-based data architectures, such as GCP, to facilitate scalable and dependable data workflows.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to merge data sources and connect analytics implementation with broader data engineering requirements.

• Discover opportunities to enhance data governance, pipeline performance, and operational efficiency.

• Investigate possibilities for integrating AI-driven solutions into data engineering and analytics processes.

• Convert technical and business requirements into dependable data solutions and support scalable analytics workflows.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in Data Engineering, Analytics Implementation, or a related domain.

• Proficient in GCP and cloud-based data solutions, including data pipelines, transformations, orchestration, and scalable architectures.

• Practical experience with Adobe Experience Cloud, especially Adobe Analytics and Adobe Launch.

• Experience with Adobe Customer Journey Analytics (CJA) is highly regarded.

• Strong expertise in SQL and JavaScript.

• Experience utilizing Python for data processing, automation, or pipeline development.

• Comprehensive understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, data structures, and data quality validation.

• Capability to translate business requirements into tracking strategies, measurement plans, and technical specifications.

• Knowledge of data governance, performance optimization, and reliable data solutions.

• Familiarity with AI / Agentic Engineering and the incorporation of AI-driven solutions into data workflows is a plus.

• Proficient English communication skills (B2/Upper-Intermediate or higher).

• Ability to work effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.

• Comfortable in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.

• If the chosen candidate holds a degree in Engineering or a related field, they must provide their professional license.
