This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Design and construct a data platform on AWS tailored to the requirements of internal stakeholders.
• Identify and establish optimal solutions to enhance the architecture of the data platform.
• Ensure the observability, quality, and reliability of data for both internal and external users.
• Automate processes and pipeline testing for the integration of new data sources, aligned with CI/CD practices.
• Implement the data platform adoption strategy alongside data governance personnel.
• Collaborate with data scientists and software engineers to facilitate a cohesive data flow.
• Develop and refine scalable, resilient data solutions for a lakehouse data platform.
• Diagnose complex issues, suggest ongoing improvements to pipelines and architectures, and participate in strategic planning.
• Act as the main technical contact, dedicated to delivering value to data consumers.
• Profound understanding of contemporary data architectures (data lake, lakehouse [Delta/Iceberg], analytical modeling, and event-driven modeling).
• Proven experience in at least one data platform deployment.
• Expertise in implementing data quality measures, observability, and data governance protocols.
• Familiarity with security, governance, and compliance considerations for data platforms.
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
