Senior Data Engineer – AI, GCP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Serve as a technical reference and lead in the design and testing of AI solutions, encompassing prototypes, proofs of concept (PoCs), and pilots for business cases utilizing GenAI and AI agents.

• Engage in the definition, design, and implementation of architectures and solutions leveraging GenAI and AI agents.

• Assess frameworks, tools, and methodologies appropriate for each scenario.

• Create and experiment with agents using Google ADK, CrewAI, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, and various other frameworks.

• Address autonomy, tool utilization, planning, and governance in the development of agents.

• Develop solutions using Python, Java, and JavaScript/TypeScript, which includes APIs, integrations, and microservices.

• Implement data, MLOps, and Machine Learning principles from experimentation to production.

• Utilize Google Cloud Platform AI infrastructure and services.

• Assist in establishing evaluation criteria for agents and RAG systems, taking into account quality, cost, latency, and groundedness.

• Contribute to the observability of solutions deployed in production.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in software or data engineering, with a minimum of 2 years dedicated to AI/GenAI projects.

• A minimum of 4 years of software development experience.

• Expertise in Python, Java, and JavaScript/TypeScript.

• Understanding of engineering best practices and production-quality applications.

• At least 3 years of experience with Data, MLOps, and Machine Learning concepts.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in defining, designing, and implementing architectures and solutions based on GenAI.

• At least 2 years of experience in cloud environments, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• A minimum of 1 year working with AI agent development frameworks such as Google ADK, CrewAI, and LangGraph.

• Nice to have: at least 2 years of experience using Java within the Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring AI, Spring Cloud).

• Nice to have: at least 1 year of Front-End experience with Angular, utilizing AI APIs.

• Nice to have: at least 1 year of experience with RAG systems and vector databases such as Pinecone, Weaviate, Qdrant, pgvector, and Azure AI Search.

• Experience with the observability and troubleshooting of agents/multi-agent systems in a production environment.

• GCP certifications or certifications in generative AI frameworks are advantageous.
