Senior Data Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Define and articulate the long-term vision for data architecture that aligns with the business strategy.

• Lead the assessment and selection of technologies, frameworks, and standards for data architecture.

• Establish and advocate for best practices in data management and governance.

• Collaborate with leadership teams and stakeholders to ensure data architecture meets business requirements.

• Translate technical concepts into easily understandable terms.

• Identify and address complex technical challenges.

• Provide expert technical guidance to data development and architecture teams.

• Ensure adherence to data security regulations and standards.

• Mentor and empower team members for growth and development.

• Contribute to the definition and execution of the organization's data strategy.

• Develop and sustain strategic relationships with technology partners and suppliers.

• Represent data architecture in both internal and external technical and strategic forums.

• Enhance data system reliability and promote collaboration across teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience with cloud platforms, specifically Azure Cloud Services.

• Experience in Snowflake data warehousing.

• Proficient in DBT for data transformation.

• Background in data modeling, ELT design, and performance tuning.

• Advanced proficiency in English, both spoken and written, to engage effectively with international stakeholders.

• Demonstrated experience in mentoring and guiding technical teams through transitions.

• Snowflake certification (Nice to Have).

• Familiarity with data governance and security (Nice to Have).
