Senior Data Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Articulate and convey the long-term vision for data architecture in alignment with business strategies.

• Lead the assessment and selection of technologies, frameworks, and standards pertinent to data architecture.

• Establish and advocate for best practices in data management and governance.

• Collaborate with leadership and stakeholders to ensure data architecture meets business requirements.

• Simplify complex technical concepts for better understanding.

• Identify and foresee intricate technical challenges while proposing innovative solutions.

• Provide expert technical guidance to data development and architecture teams.

• Ensure compliance of data architecture with data security regulations and standards.

• Mentor and empower team members, particularly those who are new.

• Engage in defining and executing the organization's data strategy.

• Develop and sustain strategic relationships with technology partners and suppliers.

• Represent data architecture in both internal and external technical and strategic discussions.

• Construct reliable and well-engineered data systems using contemporary technology.

• Enhance the reliability of data systems and promote collaboration across teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency with cloud platforms, ideally Azure Cloud Services.

• Familiarity with Snowflake data warehousing.

• Experience using DBT for data transformation.

• Knowledge of data modeling, ELT design, and performance optimization.

• Advanced proficiency in English, both spoken and written, to effectively communicate with international stakeholders.

• Demonstrated experience in mentoring and guiding technical teams through transitions.

• Snowflake certification is a plus.

• Familiarity with data governance and security is desirable.
