This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.
• Design and implement scalable, cloud-native analytics platforms utilizing Databricks and Snowflake.
• Facilitate self-service access to insights, predictive models, and GenAI-assisted analytics tools.
• Serve as a liaison between business strategy and engineering teams.
• Convert complex business rules into modular SQL/Python code, data models, and scalable platform services.
• Create, enhance, and automate campaign measurement engines and algorithms, including iROAS and Test vs. Control.
• Develop integration pipelines and data models that unify retail POS data, third-party syndicated datasets, and internal platform metrics.
• Transform exploratory analytical models into production-ready analytical tools.
• Optimize the cloud data warehousing and decision intelligence ecosystem.
• Collaborate with and mentor both senior and junior data engineers.
• Articulate platform capabilities to non-technical business stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related quantitative discipline.
• Over 8 years of progressive experience in data engineering, platform development, or analytics architecture.
• More than 3 years of experience operating at a senior technical level.
• Strong background in CPG/Retail analytics.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) transactional data.
• Understanding of campaign measurement methodologies, including Test vs. Control.
• Experience in the digital Retail Media Network (RMN) sector, encompassing in-store digital media, DOOH, and ESL.
• Practical experience in architecting and deploying analytics solutions on Databricks or Snowflake.
• Advanced skills in SQL and Python.
• Experience in database design and star/snowflake schema data modeling.
• Proficient in ETL/ELT pipeline design and API integration.
• Experience in integrating machine learning models, predictive algorithms, and AI tools into operational analytics workflows.
• Capability to write production code alongside data engineers.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to lead technical execution across cross-functional teams and effectively communicate platform capabilities to non-technical stakeholders.
