This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom, +1 more state.
• Collaborate with product teams to establish success metrics, design experiments, and assess the impact of features.
• Create and analyze experiments with rigorous statistical methods while advocating for best practices in experimentation.
• Work alongside engineering teams to define key metrics, identify data tracking needs, develop event taxonomies, and ensure data quality within products.
• Lead the implementation of product-level KPIs within a structured framework, linking product metrics to overall business outcomes.
• Perform in-depth analyses across various domains including funnels, retention, cohorts, operational metrics, customer experience, commercial performance, and product efficacy.
• Assess opportunities and construct business cases that relate metric changes to revenue effects.
• Develop and sustain governed LightDash dashboards while promoting the adoption of self-service analytics.
• Analyze metrics and experiment findings in collaboration with product managers, product leaders, and team stakeholders.
• Review business bets, assist in roadmap prioritization, and contribute to leadership recommendations.
• Enhance data utilization across product and business teams while establishing analytical frameworks that support data-driven decision-making.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in product or commercial analytics, data science, or quantitative analytics roles, demonstrating significant senior-level impact.
• Extensive experience in product analytics within a B2C, marketplace, or transactional context.
• Strong understanding of funnels, retention curves, user lifecycle, and the relationship between product metrics and revenue.
• Experience in working with product, operational, and commercial data.
• Proficient in experimentation and A/B testing, including best practices, decision-making frameworks, and understanding failure modes.
• Proven experience in defining tracking data and event taxonomies in collaboration with engineering; possesses strong instincts for data governance.
• A history of delivering metrics and analytical frameworks that align with cross-functional teams.
• Capability to evaluate opportunities and link product analytics to financial outcomes.
• Proficient in SQL and Python/R.
• Familiarity with data visualization and BI tools such as LightDash, Looker, Tableau, or comparable platforms.
• Exceptional communication skills tailored to various audiences.
• Ability to work independently in uncertain environments and provide structure.
• Self-motivated with a proactive mindset.
• Comfortable utilizing AI tools to enhance analytical tasks.
• Preferred: experience in marketplace, telecom, travel, or subscription-based business models.
• Preferred: familiarity with experimentation tools, causal inference beyond A/B testing, and platforms like Amplitude, Mixpanel, Firebase, dbt, LightDash, or similar semantic/BI layers.
