Senior Data Analyst, Investor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Become part of a sector team that focuses on industries such as consumer goods, software, or financial services.

• Cultivate extensive knowledge in proprietary datasets and methodologies.

• Take ownership of analytical data products and workflows from start to finish.

• Ensure the accuracy and reliability of data while enhancing product methodologies.

• Analyze large datasets to address client inquiries.

• Recognize gaps in methodology, extract insights, and discover opportunities.

• Solve intricate data challenges and evaluate new datasets.

• Leverage AI and tools to boost efficiency, minimize manual tasks, and automate workflows.

• Establish repeatable processes and validate outputs generated by AI.

• Collaborate with Research, Engineering, Product, and other teams.

• Enhance products, methodologies, datasets, and team processes.

• Potentially create investment methodologies, develop research products, assess alternative datasets, design AI-driven workflows, and create dashboards or AI experiences.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in data analytics.

• Preferably experience in financial services, consulting, data science, product analytics, high-growth technology, or a similar field.

• Proficient in advanced SQL.

• Experience with Python or PySpark to create reliable, reusable analytical workflows and automations.

• Capability to transform complex datasets into scalable products and methodologies.

• Ability to develop mental models for unfamiliar businesses, industries, and datasets.

• Capacity to excel in ambiguous situations and take responsibility for issues.

• Skill in effectively communicating methodologies, assumptions, risks, and trade-offs to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Interest in industries, competitive dynamics, and corporate performance.

• Active utilization of AI tools and enthusiasm for enhancing analytical product development.

• Must not currently or in the future require visa sponsorship in the United States.
