Senior Data Analyst – Finance

📋 Description

• Collaborate with product, engineering, and design teams to define metrics, reporting, and analysis.

• Spearhead analytics initiatives and extract actionable insights to enhance product and business performance.

• Create and implement statistical analyses to address business inquiries and product features.

• Engage in product and growth experimentation.

• Develop and sustain data pipelines that support product and business metrics.

• Work alongside data engineers to manage data assets and feature stores for automation, analytics, and machine learning initiatives.

• Oversee business intelligence reporting dashboards.

• Utilize advanced SQL to analyze intricate datasets and reveal insights related to pricing and business performance.

• Explore open-ended business inquiries, recognize patterns, quantify opportunities, and propose strategic pricing recommendations.

• Convert analytical results into comprehensible insights for senior management.

• Collaborate with product, pricing, and engineering teams to define analytical requirements and validate hypotheses.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Data, Economics, Statistics, Operations Research, or a related quantitative discipline.

• Over 5 years of relevant experience as a Data or Business Analyst.

• Demonstrated success in manipulating and deriving value from datasets.

• Proficient in constructing complex SQL queries.

• Strong foundation in statistics and econometrics, encompassing regressions and hypothesis testing.

• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to simplify complex issues and analyses.

• An inquisitive nature and a strong desire to understand the underlying reasons behind the data.

• Familiarity with Looker, Snowflake, and Amplitude is advantageous.
