Senior Data Analyst, Customer Analytics – Insurance

📋 Description

• Transform raw customer data into actionable insights that enhance retention, stimulate growth, and improve operational performance across CCC's client base.

• Recognize client trends, identify adoption opportunities, report gaps, and assess business risks.

• Convert findings into clear recommendations that support retention efforts, growth initiatives, and improved client outcomes.

• Generate insights that link analytics outputs to product adoption, expansion opportunities, operational efficiency, and client satisfaction.

• Design, develop, and maintain Business Intelligence dashboards and reports that monitor customer health metrics, adoption rates, churn risks, and engagement levels.

• Own essential dashboards and create repeatable analytics and reporting deliverables.

• Contribute to measurable advancements in reporting efficiency, quality of client insights, and adoption analytics.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with Client Success leadership, Product, Sales, and Operations teams.

• Utilize regression, clustering, and predictive modeling techniques to anticipate customer behavior.

• Oversee data governance and ensure data quality.

• Simplify complex findings into straightforward narratives for stakeholders.

• Enhance processes and automate analytics workflows.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in analytics, BI, or data analyst positions, preferably within Customer Success or customer-facing roles.

• Advanced proficiency in SQL.

• Expertise in Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar Business Intelligence tools.

• Strong foundation in statistical analysis, including regression, ANOVA, cluster analysis, and factor analysis.

• Experience with Python or R for data analysis and automation purposes.

• Outstanding communication abilities.

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related discipline.

• Experience in the insurance or insurtech sector.

• Familiarity with modern data stack tools such as dbt, BigQuery, and Snowflake.

• Exposure to predictive/prescriptive analytics and AI/ML-assisted analysis.

• Experience in developing customer health scores, churn models, or adoption analytics.

• Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce).

• Understanding of AI concepts including prompt engineering and agentic AI frameworks.

• Strong intellectual curiosity, ownership mentality, collaborative spirit, adaptability, and business acumen.

• Strong judgment, communication, and stakeholder translation skills, as described in Gartner's "questionneer" concept.
