Senior Data Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Create clinical data models utilizing dbt and SQL in accordance with business requirements, ensuring interoperability among existing data models, analysis needs, and data delivery specifications.

• Generate reports for central monitoring, KPI metrics, and visualizations of study performance.

• Build data automation pipelines to facilitate data delivery.

• Establish data handling routines to convert raw data into analysis-ready datasets.

• Assist in the development and upkeep of data integration across various data marts.

• Oversee the de-identification process of protected health information.

• Promote best practices in code maintenance, validation, and documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of relevant professional experience, ideally in an analytical or consulting capacity within or related to the Life Sciences or Healthcare sector.

• Proficient in SQL and other scripting languages, including R or Python.

• Familiarity with business intelligence tools such as Looker.

• Experience in oncology, cancer genomics, molecular biology, and/or clinical trials.

• Proven track record in creating client-ready deliverables and other outputs.

• Adept at working with disorganized data from multiple sources and transforming raw data into actionable insights and recommendations.

• Skilled in data manipulation, cleaning, and visualization techniques.

• Exceptional communication skills with a demonstrated ability to engage with diverse audiences.

• Capable of taking ownership of deliverables, managing ambiguity, and handling multiple projects concurrently.
