Senior Data Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain high-quality Power BI dashboards, reports, and KPI scorecards that facilitate operational and strategic decision-making.

• Provide trusted, timely, and actionable insights for stakeholders throughout the organization.

• Create and maintain scalable data models utilizing best-practice dimensional modeling techniques.

• Develop and refine DAX measures, KPIs, and analytical calculations.

• Write and enhance SQL queries for reporting, analytics, and data validation purposes.

• Collaborate with Data Engineers to support and develop reporting solutions within Microsoft Fabric and other data platforms.

• Utilize Python and various analytical tools to automate processes, improve reporting, and deliver comprehensive analytical insights.

• Implement advanced analytical techniques to uncover trends, risks, opportunities, and performance improvement initiatives.

• Work closely with stakeholders to grasp business challenges and convert requirements into data-driven solutions.

• Advocate for best practices in reporting, data quality, and analytics while fostering continuous improvement across the organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in a Data Analyst, Senior Data Analyst, BI Analyst, or a comparable analytics position.

• Proficient in advanced Power BI development.

• Strong skills in DAX development and optimization.

• Solid understanding of dimensional modeling, star schemas, and data warehousing concepts.

• Advanced SQL capabilities with experience working with large and complex datasets.

• Experience in using Python for analysis, automation, and data manipulation.

• Background in developing and maintaining enterprise-scale reporting solutions.

• Strong analytical, statistical, and problem-solving abilities.

• Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.

• Proven track record of delivering measurable business value through data and analytics.

• May need to undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, depending on the role.
