Senior Data Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create analytical solutions and corporate dashboards utilizing Power BI.

• Convert data into strategic insights to aid in decision-making.

• Engage in the entire process, from gathering requirements to the final delivery of solutions.

• Develop executive, tactical, and operational dashboards, reports, and panels using Power BI.

• Implement best practices in data visualization, storytelling, and user experience (UX).

• Construct semantic models, metrics, and KPIs using DAX and dimensional modeling techniques.

• Examine and enhance reports, queries, and semantic models for performance and scalability.

• Collaborate with business teams to establish KPIs, business rules, and analytical requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in developing corporate dashboards and analytical solutions.

• Advanced expertise in dashboard design, data storytelling, user experience (UX), and best practices in data visualization.

• Proficient in DAX and SQL for data analysis and manipulation.

• Strong understanding of dimensional modeling (Star Schema), complex metric development, and semantic modeling.

• Familiarity with DAX Studio, Tabular Editor, and Performance Analyzer.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric, Semantic Models, Direct Lake, Lakehouse, and integration with the Power BI/Fabric ecosystem.

• Experience with Databricks is an advantage.

• Microsoft PL-300 certification is a plus.

• Familiarity with Figma or other prototyping and dashboard design tools is an asset.

• Ability to comprehend business processes, KPIs, and departmental needs and convert them into effective analytical solutions.

• Capable of interpreting complex scenarios, suggesting improvements, and facilitating data-driven decision-making.

• Proficient in managing end-to-end deliveries while continuously seeking improvements and innovation.

• Portuguese, English, and Spanish are available as language options; no specific language requirement is stated.
