This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Collaborate with stakeholders from Finance, Commercial, Marketing, and Product to convert open-ended inquiries into clearly defined analytical challenges with established success metrics.
• Uncover the rationale behind requests and critically assess outputs that may not address the core question.
• Suggest analytical methodologies and determine when it is better to utilize reusable data assets instead of performing one-off data pulls.
• Establish scope and timeline expectations while effectively communicating any changes.
• Oversee analytics projects from initiation to delivery and subsequent adoption.
• Acquire, validate, and model data in SQL to create analysis-ready datasets.
• Document methodologies, assumptions, and limitations to ensure reproducibility and facilitate reuse.
• Develop reusable datasets, dashboards, and metric definitions.
• Validate results against source systems and identify any discrepancies.
• Create Tableau dashboards tailored to specific questions and target audiences.
• Convert analyses into understandable narratives for both non-technical and senior audiences.
• Articulate confidence levels and differentiate findings from personal interpretations.
• Assist leadership by providing business insights and assessing outcomes.
• Link analysis to patient data, subscription lifecycle, and financial implications.
• Collaborate with data engineering, analytics colleagues, and business teams to define metrics and establish sources of truth.
• Identify unrequested risks and opportunities.
• Manage patient and business data in accordance with privacy and security regulations.
• Over 5 years of experience in an analytics role providing direct analysis to business stakeholders.
• Proficient in advanced SQL, including complex joins, window functions, and query optimization for large datasets in cloud data warehouses like Snowflake or Redshift.
• Experience with Tableau, creating and maintaining production dashboards for business teams.
• Proven track record of managing analytics projects from start to finish.
• Capability to convert vague business questions into a structured analytical approach.
• Experience in defining KPIs and developing metrics, scorecards, and performance reports utilized by business teams and leadership.
• Background in analyzing customer behavior, including retention, churn, cohort analysis, and LTV.
• Experience in defining segmentation strategies used across analytics and reporting.
• Strong ability to convey technical findings to non-technical audiences through written and live presentations.
• Proficient in utilizing AI as a collaborative partner while being capable of independently producing high-quality work without AI assistance.
