This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Create realistic marketing analytics scenarios derived from personal work experiences.
• Identify analytical challenges and anticipated decisions or outcomes.
• Develop scenarios that incorporate incomplete, conflicting, or disorganized marketing data.
• Construct and assess multi-channel performance analysis scenarios.
• Examine traffic, engagement, conversion, acquisition, and downstream performance metrics.
• Recognize trends, performance drivers, potential challenges, and anomalies.
• Analyze unusual fluctuations utilizing various data sources.
• Align data across analytics platforms, CRM systems, and advertising reports.
• Evaluate attribution and incrementality analyses.
• Convert measurement insights into actionable marketing recommendations.
• Design and review dashboards, reports, and analytical summaries.
• Collaborate with Google Analytics 4, Amplitude, Salesforce, and advertising platform reporting workflows.
• Specify documents, dashboards, personas, and tool states for authentic simulated analytics scenarios.
• Assess multi-step workflows across marketing systems.
• Draft or critique reference solutions and evaluation criteria.
• Review final scenarios and evaluate diagnostic reasoning, prioritization, reconciliation, interpretation, and reporting.
• Provide clear written justification for evaluation decisions.
• Practical professional experience in marketing analytics.
• Proven ownership of marketing measurement and analysis, rather than merely managing teams handling the work.
• Extensive knowledge of channel performance, anomaly detection, attribution, incrementality, and cross-source reconciliation.
• Proficient in Google Analytics 4.
• Experience with product analytics platforms such as Amplitude.
• Comfortable using a CRM like Salesforce.
• Strong familiarity with reporting from advertising platforms.
• Capability to reconcile conflicting data and identify relevant signals for business decisions.
• Strong analytical and quantitative judgment.
• Clear written communication skills, with the ability to explain the validity or misleading aspects of analytical conclusions.
• Prior experience in developing AI training environments, reinforcement-learning environments, or simulated business case studies is highly preferred.
• Certification from Rubric Academy or Rubric Bootcamp is strongly preferred.
• Applicants are required to complete a brief multiple-choice knowledge assessment specific to marketing analytics prior to review.
• Work must be conducted without utilizing confidential or proprietary information belonging to any employer, client, institution, or third party.

• Part-time independent contractor position.
