This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Input global port, terminal, and berth details from source documents within designated time frames.
• Collect, verify, and categorize information gathered from the network.
• Comprehend, interpret, and document data from the global network.
• Aggregate data for information queries and access pertinent files.
• Generate reports and maintain tracking sheets based on assigned responsibilities.
• Gather port information, including general details, parameters, restrictions, local regulations, cargo operations, and navigation specifics.
• Analyze, validate, and enhance data in the business intelligence system.
• Serve as the primary contact for assigned clients and provide requested information.
• Update vessel port calls in the system utilizing emails, websites, AIS-generated data, and other open sources.
• Analyze and refresh commodity flow data using UNCTAD and customs websites.
• Prepare regular reports for clients and internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with clients to obtain market insights using internal and external resources.
• Collect and refresh shipping market updates, trends, and significant events.
• Deliver stakeholders with reports and critical trends that support commercial and customer business decisions.
• Any degree or equivalent business qualification.
• Comprehensive knowledge of MS Office products.
• Demonstrated experience in data entry.
• Proficient in Data Collection & Data Management.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• High typing speed and accuracy.
• Solid writing and rephrasing abilities.
• Capability to compare and verify data for accuracy and consistency across various sources.
• Organizational skills, with the ability to remain focused on assigned tasks.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools.
• Desirable: Proficiency in advanced formulas in Microsoft Excel.
• Desirable: Experience working directly with Microsoft Excel on VBA Macros.
• Desirable: Background in the shipping industry with backend processes.
• Desirable: Basic understanding of shipping terminology.
• Desirable: A degree in Maritime Studies, Logistics, or a similar field.
• Desirable: Certification in Microsoft Tools.
• Ability to adhere to company HSSE, Compliance, and Ethics policies and procedures.
• Willingness to complete necessary HSSE, Compliance, and Ethics training.
