This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +44 more states.
• Generate standard, ad hoc, and analytical reporting packages to assist employers in understanding leave of absence, disability, and life insurance.
• Deliver a strategic, data-driven approach to creating claims reporting packages for employers.
• Conduct analysis for annual, semi-annual, finalist, and ad hoc reporting meetings.
• Develop and maintain customer dashboards and data pipelines.
• Update and maintain analytic services templates, scripts, and documentation.
• Execute customer reporting, industry analysis, benchmark analysis, regression analysis, and other forms of analysis.
• Engage in internal meetings to present and review data visualizations and concepts prior to customer presentations.
• Design innovative reporting solutions leveraging industry and analytics expertise to enhance client value.
• Collaborate with a cross-functional business team to provide analytics, consulting, and operational support to Group Insurance clients and internal stakeholders.
• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.
• BA or BS degree required, ideally in a quantitative field.
• Fundamental understanding of health, disability, and life data.
• Strong critical thinking abilities.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Basic knowledge of programming languages such as R or Python.
• Basic understanding of SQL/query tools and techniques.
• Intermediate or advanced proficiency in Power BI or other data visualization platforms.
• Ability to convey complex data to a diverse audience.
• High attention to detail.
• Capacity to work under pressure and manage multiple shifting priorities within tight deadlines.
• Effective communication and interaction with internal and external partners.
• Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
• Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
• Excellent written, verbal, and listening communication abilities.

• Experience with AWS and Redshift is a plus.
