This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Take charge of and develop the customer-trust program for the EMEA region as the inaugural Customer Trust hire.
• Establish the prioritization, escalation, and resolution processes for trust-related discussions.
• Assist in scaling the trust response framework as the volume of deals increases, ensuring quality and turnaround time remain intact.
• Convert customer security requirements into internal controls, evidence, and necessary product or operational specifications.
• Monitor and drive the resolution of discrepancies between customer expectations and Abnormal's control framework.
• Collaborate with EMEA Engineering and Sales teams, as well as Security and Legal departments.
• Keep abreast of customer expectations and regulatory developments, including the EU AI Act and GDPR.
• Ensure that content in Responsive and documentation in SafeBase Trust Center for EMEA is current and accurate.
• Provide support for the tools that facilitate the trust response process.
• Relay updates on conversation status, deal risks, unresolved issues, program health, and key risks to stakeholders, Sales leadership, and senior management.
• Participate in ad-hoc projects as needed.
• 7 to 10 years of experience in roles focused on customer-facing security, trust, or compliance.
• Knowledge of SOC 2, ISO 27001, ISO 27701, ISO 42001, RFPs, and security questionnaires.
• Proven experience in translating customer security requirements into internal controls, evidence, and product or operational needs.
• Strong project management capabilities.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, able to articulate complex security and privacy concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience assisting customers in building trust with products subject to the EU AI Act and GDPR.
• Familiarity with engaging German works councils.
• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
• Certifications such as CIPP/E, CIPM, CISM, CISSP, CTPRP, or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor are advantageous.
• Experience with Responsive and SafeBase Trust Center is a plus.
