This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead the creation and development of English Language Development (ELD) content for PreK-5.

• Oversee ELD-related curriculum development independently across primary curriculum programs.

• Set quality standards for instructional materials and participate in strategic planning.

• Utilize Amplify's pedagogical design to create high-quality ELD content for various grade levels.

• Influence curriculum strategy and planning within the ELD domain.

• Act as the PreK-5 ELD subject matter expert for customer-facing teams.

• Address inquiries regarding instructional approaches, alignment with standards, and product design.

• Assist in RFP responses by providing accurate and persuasive ELD-specific content and language.

• Identify inconsistencies and gaps, offering constructive feedback to team members.

• Enhance authoring and quality guidelines for ELD content.

• Assess and recommend technologies, including AI, for ELD instruction and content workflows.

• Engage in and lead opportunities for professional development.

• Exemplify constructive feedback practices and pursue personal growth objectives.

• Consider budget constraints and downstream impacts to optimize development costs.

• Review processes and suggest efficiencies while maintaining content integrity and excellence.

• Monitor project status, communicate potential risks, and propose solutions in collaboration with Project Management and other leaders.

• Promote collaboration, continuous improvement, open communication, and the sharing of best practices.


⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in English Language Development (ELD) and English Learner (EL) instruction.

• Knowledge of ELD/ELP standards, including WIDA and various state-specific frameworks.

• Expertise in instructional design aimed at multilingual learners.

• Over 5 years of educational experience with significant curriculum development skills.

• More than 3 years of direct experience in curriculum design and content creation.

• Experience in leading content projects and mentoring junior staff members.

• Proven ability to plan and independently manage medium-scale curriculum development projects across multiple grade levels.

• Experience in reviewing content and providing constructive feedback to team members.

• A Bachelor's degree in Education, Curriculum and Instruction, TESOL/Bilingual Education, or a related field is required.

• An advanced degree is preferred.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

• A background check is required for selected candidates.
