Senior Credit Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Identify, develop, and assess new line management initiatives and policies, such as over-limit policies, dynamic or instant line increases, and incentive-driven credit line enhancements.

• Perform comprehensive SQL- and/or Python-driven analyses to quantify opportunities, design tests, and assess outcomes.

• Collaborate with Data Science and Product teams to create analytical roadmaps.

• Discover areas where new or improved risk models can surpass current methodologies.

• Work alongside Data Science to establish success metrics and steer model development as the business owner.

• Transform vaguely defined problem areas into well-defined, tested, and scalable programs.

• Convert intricate analyses into straightforward, actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders.

• Persuade senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders without formal authority.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline such as Engineering, Business, Finance, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Economics.

• 5–7 years of experience in credit risk, data analytics, or a similar quantitative field.

• Ideally, experience in consumer lending or fintech.

• Proficient in SQL or Python with the capability to independently execute queries.

• Ability to effectively integrate SQL or Python with AI tools for analytical purposes.

• Strong communication skills for both in-depth analyses and high-level executive recommendations.

• Capability to influence senior stakeholders and cross-functional partners without direct reporting authority.

• Robust analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Comfortable operating amidst uncertainty and proactively advancing projects.

• Creative, results-driven mindset focused on prototyping, testing, and iterative improvement.

• Willingness to learn new tools and techniques while staying updated on trends in credit, lending, and AI.
