This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.
• Oversee a profitable business portfolio within defined parameters utilizing effective credit analysis methods.
• Conduct visits to buyers or perform telephone interviews to gather essential information for monitoring the buyer portfolio.
• Keep track of high-risk buyers and seek proprietary information for the EHNA database.
• Build and sustain relationships with Finance Directors and Treasurers through visits, phone calls, and written communication.
• Consistently evaluate buyers within authorized limits and provide detailed recommendations to the Supervisor and/or Regional Director when beyond authority.
• Execute financial and credit analysis to establish appropriate company credit ratings.
• Liaise with Sales Agents, Commercial Underwriters, and/or customers regarding underwriting requirements, industry forecasts, and target markets.
• Develop industry sector forecasts using both public and proprietary data to identify underlying market trends.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Finance.
• 3-5 years of experience in financial management within banking, credit insurance brokerage, or a credit insurance setting.
• Strong computer skills.
• Proficient understanding of financial software and spreadsheet applications.
• MBA is preferred.
