Senior Counsel, Product

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as an embedded regulatory advisor for Engineering, Product, and partner Operations teams and pods.

• Offer real-time insights on the application of technology in healthcare delivery, AI, and clinical modalities within health technology.

• Convert AI, data utilization, and healthcare laws and regulations into practical advice and resources for Engineering, Product, and Operations teams.

• Provide counsel on TCPA, COPPA, CAN-SPAM, NIST AI RMF and Generative AI Profile, FDA Software as a Medical Device, and FTC advertising, marketing, and health claims regulations.

• Anticipate regulatory hurdles and proactively create solutions that support business aims while minimizing risk.

• Cultivate strong relationships across teams and position legal guidance as a facilitator for business success.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5-7+ years of legal experience post-bar admission with a strong emphasis on healthcare regulatory matters, particularly within health technology and product counseling.

• Extensive knowledge of multi-state healthcare regulations in dynamic regulatory landscapes.

• Experience acting as a trusted advisor to Engineering, Product, and/or Operations teams in a healthcare technology setting.

• Proven capability to distill complex healthcare regulatory requirements into clear, actionable guidance for non-legal stakeholders.

• History of balancing business risk tolerance with organizational goals in fast-paced environments.

• Excellent communication skills and political acumen to manage competing priorities and forge effective partnerships.

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.

• Active bar membership in good standing.

• Must be eligible to register as NY in-house counsel.

• Authorized to work in the United States for any employer.
