Senior Counsel

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Create engaging case themes

• Manage court appearances, depositions, briefs, and trials independently

• Formulate case strategies and oversee client relationships

• Manage discovery processes and motion practice

• Conduct and defend depositions

• Prepare cases for trial and make strategic decisions to achieve optimal outcomes

• Maintain regular communications with clients

• Build and nurture relationships with current and prospective clients

• Collaborate effectively with attorneys of varying experience levels

• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior attorneys

⛳️ Requirements

• Juris Doctorate from an ABA accredited institution

• A valid California Bar license is mandatory

• Must hold a license to practice in the State of California

• At least 8 years of substantial litigation experience, particularly in litigation support, deposition, and trial preparation

• Capable of managing full case responsibilities, including all aspects of discovery and trial

• Preference for experience in handling insurance defense cases

• Familiarity with time management systems

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook

• Ability to think critically and operate independently with minimal supervision

• Exceptional listening, verbal, and written communication abilities

• Professional appearance and conduct
