This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Create a case theme that is more persuasive than the plaintiff's appeals for sympathy or outrage.
• Manage court appearances, depositions, briefs, and trials independently.
• Collaborate as part of a team with varying levels of experience.
• Maintain regular communication with clients.
• Foster relationships with both current and prospective firm clients.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced attorneys.
• Take the lead on high-profile cases with autonomy and strategic insight.
• Navigate intricate, high-stakes litigation issues.
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited institution.
• Must hold a license to practice law in the State of California.
• Over 8 years of substantial litigation experience, particularly in litigation support, deposition, and trial preparation.
• Capability to manage all responsibilities associated with case handling, including every aspect of discovery and trial.
• Preferred experience in managing insurance defense cases.
• Familiarity with time management systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite, especially Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Ability to think independently and operate with minimal supervision.
• Exceptional listening, verbal, and written communication abilities.
• Professional appearance and demeanor are essential.
• Experienced litigator with a defense-oriented mindset and strong courtroom presence.
• Demonstrated success in managing litigation teams and mentoring junior attorneys.
• Annual billable hours bonus ranging from $10,000, with an additional $7,500 for each subsequent tier.
