This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Assist Integra throughout the entire M&A lifecycle, which encompasses target identification, pipeline development, underwriting, due diligence, transaction execution, and tracking post-close performance.
• Manage and prioritize the acquisition pipeline, conduct research on potential targets, evaluate opportunities, and maintain CRM and deal-tracking records.
• Facilitate acquisition origination by performing market research, identifying targets, preparing outreach, and tracking discussions with prospective owners and intermediaries.
• Develop and sustain financial models for potential acquisitions, including valuation assessments, return analyses, synergy evaluations, and pro forma financial analyses.
• Create investment memos, target summaries, underwriting documents, diligence reports, and presentations for senior leadership and the Board.
• Coordinate financial, accounting, operational, legal, tax, and people-related diligence workstreams; manage diligence trackers, data rooms, and requests from third-party advisors.
• Assist with LOI, purchase agreements, signing, and closing processes in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external advisors.
• Monitor the performance of acquired companies against underwriting assumptions after the close.
• Conduct market, geographic, and end-market analyses to support greenfield expansion and broader growth initiatives.
• Cultivate productive relationships with business owners, advisors, internal leadership, and functional partners.
• 3–5 years of pertinent experience in investment banking, corporate development, private equity, transaction advisory, financial due diligence, or a similar transaction-focused position.
• Direct involvement in supporting M&A transactions from early-stage target identification and underwriting through to diligence, LOI, closing, or post-close assessments.
• Proficient financial modeling and Excel capabilities, including the ability to create valuation, returns, and pro forma models.
• Familiarity with financial statements, quality of earnings concepts, EBITDA adjustments, and transaction diligence processes.
• Experience managing various priorities and workstreams in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, business, or a related field.
• Strong analytical judgment, meticulous attention to detail, and integrity.
• Ability to differentiate between facts and assumptions, recognize risks early, and clearly communicate findings.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare decision-ready materials for senior leadership.
• Comfort working directly with founder- and family-owned business owners in a relationship-centric acquisition environment.
• A proactive, self-starting mindset and readiness to handle both strategic analysis and detailed transaction process tasks.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to maintain accuracy across multiple active deals.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Willingness to travel 30%–50%.
• Familiarity with CRM, deal-tracking, data-room, or project-management tools is preferred.
• Experience with multi-site, field-service, commercial-service, industrial-service, healthcare-service, or other people-intensive businesses is preferred, but not mandatory.
• Progress toward a CPA or CFA designation is a plus, though not required.
