This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Idaho, +1 more state.
• Meet and surpass sales revenue goals while expanding market presence in the Utah/Idaho region through the promotion, sale, and servicing of Medtronic CoreValve and associated products.
• Formulate and implement account strategies aimed at achieving or exceeding sales targets, enhancing current business, generating new opportunities, and fulfilling customer requirements.
• Act as a reliable TAVR subject matter expert, offering clinical and technical assistance during implantation procedures, which includes scrubbing in, valve loading, and case support.
• Provide education to customers regarding product indications, safe device usage, TAVR therapies, and optimal practices.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of CoreValve, TAVR therapies, IFUs, clinical literature, competitive offerings, industry trends, and the comprehensive cardiovascular portfolio.
• Collaborate with R&D on forthcoming innovations, product improvements, and next-generation technologies.
• Represent Medtronic at industry conferences and seek out new opportunities.
• Guide implant teams, support case planning and execution, analyze imaging and diagnostic data, and ensure the safe and effective application of products.
• Deliver educational sessions for physicians and staff, support training initiatives, and participate in case observations and educational events.
• Manage case coverage, maintain account records, forecast implants, oversee inventory logistics, secure purchase orders, and ensure compliance with hospital credentialing.
• Provide market insights and customer intelligence to internal teams.
• Assist in training new hires, report product quality issues, and conduct customer presentations.
• Engage in tasks involving prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and walking, while operating safely in clinical settings that may involve PPE, infectious diseases, or radiation exposure.
• Perform other assigned duties.
• High School Diploma (or equivalent) with 8+ years of relevant experience, or an associate's degree with 6+ years, or a Bachelor's Degree with 4+ years.
• Relevant experience in sales, clinical, or related fields within the medical device, medtech, healthcare, or life sciences sectors.
• Candidates must reside within the designated Utah/Idaho territory.
• Willingness to travel to multiple customer accounts throughout the region.
• Ability to travel on short notice, including overnight stays up to 50–70% of the time, depending on geographical needs.
• A valid driver's license and active insurance are required.
• Driving record must comply with company standards.
• Unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and for the duration of employment; sponsorship is not available for roles below the Principal level.
• Preferred experience in selling interventional or surgical products.
• Proven success in a previous sales role, demonstrating strong sales performance, influence, and selling skills is preferred.
• Business and clinical acumen with experience in leading complex cardiac or endovascular procedures is preferred.
• Understanding of cardiac and vascular anatomy, physiology, and pathology is preferred.
• Experience in interventional cardiac or vascular procedures using wires, balloons, catheters, or stents is preferred.
• Preferred experience in endovascular EVAR/TEVAR or cardiac surgery/SAVR.
• Experience in communicating product market advantages to physicians and hospital administration is preferred.
• Preferred experience in launching new devices and developing markets.
• Experience engaging with C-Suite customers is preferred.
• Experience in teaching and educating medical personnel, peers, and technical support staff is preferred.
• Preferred experience in imaging interpretation with TTE/TEE, CT, or angiograms.
• Proficiency in computers and ability to perform CT reconstruction using CT programs is preferred.
• For Baccalaureate degrees obtained outside the United States, the degree must comply with 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A).
