Senior Therapy Development Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Cultivate and sustain relationships with essential physicians and site-specific stakeholders to meet clinical trial enrollment goals.

• Optimize patient screening procedures at participating locations.

• Carry out referral and educational initiatives to aid in therapy development.

• Formulate strategies to enhance enrollment at clinical trial sites within the designated area.

• Establish consistent communication with site investigators and research teams.

• Assist site teams with resources and best practices to assess trial candidates.

• Recognize and resolve enrollment challenges while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure site productivity.

• Execute escalation plans for clinical trial sites.

• Build relationships with cardiologists, surgeons, and other vital stakeholders.

• Collect patient-pipeline data, monitor enrollment progress, and identify trends.

• Organize referral meetings with general cardiologists and primary care providers.

• Utilize analytical tools for planning referral activities.

• Increase clinical trial awareness through newsletters, banners, social media, and outreach to neighboring hospitals.

• Coordinate communications to focus on enrollment activities and guarantee excellent procedural outcomes.

• Stay updated on product and clinical trial knowledge and engage in educational programs.

• Perform occasional related tasks, including evening and weekend calls for urgent patient and customer needs.

• Collaborate with the clinical study team, medical director, program and project management, clinical study staff, commercial team, investigators, research coordinators, physician assistants, and nurses.

• Fulfill responsibilities in accordance with corporate policies and standard operating procedures.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.

• Degree in the sciences, medicine, nursing, or a related field is highly preferred.

• A minimum of 8+ years of relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Extensive experience in a field-based role within the medical device sector.

• Experience in both sales and clinical research, especially in field clinical affairs, is a significant advantage.

• Proven ability to lead and/or facilitate educational programs for healthcare professionals.

• Familiarity with Structural Heart and cardiac catheterization lab protocols and procedures.

• Capability to function in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business setting.

• Ability to leverage and/or engage others to achieve project goals.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact at various organizational levels.

• Proficiency in multitasking, prioritizing, and meeting deadlines promptly.

• Excellent organizational, leadership, follow-up, and attention-to-detail abilities.

• Willingness to travel based on business requirements for 30% of the time.

• Demonstrated understanding of cardiac medical procedures.
