Manager, Physical Therapy

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee and mentor a remote team of up to 16 physical therapists

• Manage performance evaluations, coaching, and career advancement

• Ensure adherence to service-level agreements, effective caseload management, documentation standards, and clinical compliance

• Enhance the effectiveness of digital health initiatives and promote technology-driven telehealth services

• Lead and participate in operational projects using data and qualitative insights to identify, test, and implement improvements

• Support the team during transitions in workflows, tools, and priorities

• Engage stakeholders and uphold engagement and outcomes

• Collaborate with Clinical & Operational leaders and Product teams to create a cohesive care experience and meet company objectives

• Assist in the growth of Hinge Health’s PT organization and realize the product vision

⛳️ Requirements

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT)

• Valid physical therapy license in the United States, in good standing

• Minimum of 5 years of direct management experience, overseeing at least 6–8 clinical direct reports, including performance management and coaching

• Proven track record of successfully leading teams in a challenging environment while achieving or surpassing business and clinical objectives

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

• Capacity to lead teams across all U.S. time zones

• Preferred: experience in managing operational projects that necessitate significant change management and cross-functional collaboration

• Preferred: background in digital health and/or experience leading clinicians in a remote, distributed environment

• Preferred: demonstrated application of AI to enhance personal or team performance and/or processes

• Preferred: previous experience managing larger clinical teams (10–16+ direct reports), especially physical therapists

• Preferred: familiarity with large-scale operations, workforce planning, or cost-improvement initiatives linked to budget/P&L
