Senior Therapy Development Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Build and maintain relationships with key physicians and site-specific stakeholders to fulfill clinical trial enrollment goals.

• Optimize patient screening processes at participating sites.

• Execute referral and educational initiatives to aid therapy development.

• Formulate strategies to enhance enrollment at clinical trial sites and achieve enrollment objectives.

• Establish regular communication with site investigators and research teams.

• Increase trial visibility and strengthen enrollment efforts.

• Assist site teams with tools and best practices for qualifying trial candidates.

• Identify and mitigate enrollment challenges.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the productivity of clinical sites.

• Implement escalation plans for clinical trial sites.

• Develop connections with cardiologists, surgeons, and other pivotal stakeholders.

• Collect patient-pipeline data, monitor enrollment progress, and recognize trends.

• Facilitate clinical trial awareness campaigns and organize referral meetings.

• Utilize analytical tools for planning referral activities.

• Promote clinical trial awareness through newsletters, banners, and social media channels.

• Coordinate communications to prioritize enrollment efforts and ensure excellent procedural outcomes.

• Stay updated on product and clinical trial knowledge and engage in educational programs.

• Occasionally take evening and weekend calls for urgent patient and customer requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree is required; an advanced degree is preferred.

• A degree in sciences, medicine, nursing, or a related field is highly preferred.

• A minimum of 8+ years of relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Extensive experience in a field-based role within the medical device industry.

• Experience in both sales and clinical research, particularly in field clinical affairs, is advantageous.

• Capability to lead and/or facilitate educational programs for healthcare professionals.

• Knowledge of Structural Heart and cardiac catheterization lab procedures and protocols.

• Ability to operate in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment.

• Skill in leveraging and/or engaging others to achieve project goals.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

• Proficient in multitasking, prioritizing, and meeting deadlines.

• Strong organizational, leadership, follow-up, and attention-to-detail skills.

• Willingness to travel for business needs up to 30% of the time.

• Demonstrated understanding of cardiac medical procedures.
