This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Idaho, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Drive growth within the territory by formulating and implementing account strategies aimed at meeting or surpassing sales targets, expanding current business, generating new opportunities, addressing customer requirements, and positioning Medtronic solutions against competitors.

• Offer clinical and technical expertise as a reliable TAVR subject matter expert, assisting in implant procedures which include scrubbing in, valve loading, and providing case support.

• Educate clients on product indications and safe usage of devices, aiding sites in achieving procedural success and promoting growth in adoption.

• Stay informed about CoreValve, TAVR therapies, IFUs, clinical literature, competitive products, industry trends, and the extensive cardiovascular portfolio.

• Collaborate with R&D for future innovations and enhancements to products, and represent Medtronic at industry events.

• Guide implant teams, assist in case planning and execution, interpret imaging and diagnostic data, and ensure the safe and effective use of CoreValve.

• Provide education to physicians and staff, support training initiatives, engage in case observations and educational events, and offer advice on TAVR therapies and best practices.

• Manage case coverage, maintain account records, forecast implant needs, handle inventory logistics, secure purchase orders, and ensure compliance with hospital credentialing.

• Supply market intelligence and customer insights to internal stakeholders.

• Assist with new hire training, report product quality issues, and deliver presentations to customers.

• Be prepared to travel on short notice, with overnight stays expected 50–70% of the time.

• Engage in tasks involving prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and walking for up to 8 hours daily, while operating safely in clinical settings.


⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent with 8+ years of relevant experience, or an associate's degree with 6+ years, or a bachelor's degree with 4+ years of experience.

• Relevant experience in sales, clinical, or related fields within medical devices, medtech, healthcare, or life sciences.

• Must reside within the designated Utah/Idaho territory.

• Capability to travel to various customer accounts throughout the region.

• Willingness to travel on short notice, including overnight stays 50–70% of the time, based on geography.

• Valid driver's license and active insurance are required.

• Driving record must meet company standards.

• Experience in selling interventional or surgical products is preferred.

• Proven success in a previous sales position along with strong influence and selling skills is preferred.

• Possess business and clinical acumen with experience leading sophisticated cardiac or endovascular procedures.

• Familiarity with cardiac and vascular anatomy, physiology, and pathology is preferred.

• Experience in interventional cardiac or vascular roles is preferred.

• Experience in endovascular, EVAR, TEVAR, cardiac surgery, or SAVR is preferred.

• Experience communicating product market advantages to physicians and hospital administration is preferred.

• Successful experience with new-device launches and market development is preferred.

• Experience engaging C-suite customers is preferred.

• Experience in teaching and educating medical personnel, peers, and technical support staff is preferred.

• Imaging interpretation experience with TTE/TEE, CT, or angiograms is preferred.

• Proficiency in computer use and ability to perform CT reconstruction with CT software is preferred.

• For degrees obtained outside the United States, the degree must comply with 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A).

• Must possess unrestricted U.S. work authorization upon hire and throughout employment; sponsorship is not available for positions below the Principal level.

• Ability to work in healthcare environments and adhere to hospital or clinic credentialing requirements.

• Ability to utilize personal protective equipment and work in proximity to infectious diseases or radiation.
