Senior Copywriter, Promotional Medical Writing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the primary content liaison for designated accounts

• Create top-notch, medically precise print and digital materials for medical communication resources

• Complete projects within specified deadlines

• Perform literature reviews and create annotations that support promotional claims

• Engage proactively and collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders

• Ensure that all work adheres to scientific standards, best publication practices, company rules, and policies

• Collaborate with account teams to ensure content aligns with strategic objectives

• Present medical content to internal teams and pharmaceutical clients

• Participate in medical, legal, and regulatory review meetings

• Take part in project kick-offs, status updates, client meetings, and brainstorming/review sessions

• Contribute suggestions for new business proposals and tactical strategies

• Provide mentorship to junior team members

• Travel occasionally for client meetings

⛳️ Requirements

• BA/BS in life sciences, or a BA/BS in English paired with experience in a pharmaceutical agency, medical communications firm, or healthcare advertising

• At least 3 years of experience in the medical communication, pharmaceutical, and/or healthcare industry

• Proficient in American Medical Association (AMA) style

• Strong skills in Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat

• Knowledge of scientific search engines such as PubMed and Google Scholar

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• High level of analytical ability

• Capacity to prioritize projects with tight deadlines and manage competing client demands
