This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the resolution of intricate client service challenges and act as the primary escalation point.
• Offer specialized knowledge in UM Appeals as well as various operational workflows.
• Analyze payer-specific requirements, timely filing protocols, and documentation standards.
• Track and assess operational performance, recognize trends, and provide actionable insights.
• Create and sustain training materials, SOPs, and best practices.
• Guide and onboard new team members.
• Work collaboratively with Strategic Advisors, technical teams, and operational stakeholders on escalated matters and strategic projects.
• Enhance service delivery, client satisfaction, and overall client outcomes.
• Carry out additional responsibilities aligned with departmental and organizational growth initiatives.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
• Bachelor's degree is highly preferred.
• Experience in Client Services is essential.
• 1–2 years of experience in healthcare appeals workflows, including managing appeal submissions, interpreting payer-specific requirements, and understanding timely filing guidelines.
• Familiarity with healthcare revenue cycle operations, including prior authorization, denials management, and appeals resolution.
• Previous experience accessing hospital EMRs and payer portals is strongly preferred.
• Experience with Salesforce is preferred.
• Background as a Business Analyst or in Project Management is preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel is required.
• Proven ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
• Experience in collaborating with Strategic Advisors and cross-functional teams (technical, operational, and client-facing) to address escalated issues and convey outcomes.
• Understanding of HIPAA and healthcare compliance standards in client communications and documentation.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, time management, critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, computer, and multitasking skills.
• Commitment to HIPAA/HITECH compliance and confidentiality is essential.
• Availability to work Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM EST.
• Must be able to work remotely within the US only.
