This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead the resolution of intricate client service challenges as the primary escalation point.

• Ensure prompt follow-up, particularly in high-volume areas such as UM Appeals.

• Act as a subject matter expert in UM Appeals and essential operational workflows.

• Implement payer-specific requirements, timely filing protocols, and documentation standards.

• Monitor and evaluate operational performance while identifying areas for improvement.

• Provide actionable insights to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction.

• Create and maintain training materials, standard operating procedures, and best practices.

• Mentor and onboard new team members effectively.

• Collaborate with Strategic Advisors, technical teams, and operational stakeholders.

• Address escalated issues, support strategic initiatives, and enhance client outcomes.

• Execute additional responsibilities aligned with departmental and organizational growth objectives.


⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

• A Bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred.

• Experience in Client Services is required.

• 1–2 years of experience in healthcare appeals workflows, including managing appeal submissions, interpreting payer-specific requirements, and understanding timely filing protocols.

• Knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle operations, encompassing prior authorization, denials management, and appeals resolution.

• Prior experience accessing hospital EMRs and payer portals is strongly preferred.

• Experience with Salesforce is preferred.

• Background as a Business Analyst or Project Manager is preferred.

• Proficiency in MS Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.

• Proven ability to communicate clearly and professionally.

• Experience working with Strategic Advisors and cross-functional teams to resolve escalated issues and communicate outcomes.

• Familiarity with HIPAA and healthcare compliance standards in client communications and documentation.

• Strong interpersonal, organizational, time management, critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.

• Proficient in computer usage.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and track deliverables across various projects.

• Commitment to HIPAA/HITECH compliance and confidentiality.

• Capability to perform extended computer use, sit for long durations, communicate effectively, engage in repetitive hand movements, and occasionally stand, walk, and lift up to 20 lbs.
