Client Service Analyst II – Defined Benefit Pension Plans

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Calculate and confirm pension benefits in alignment with legal and regulatory standards.

• Conduct quality assessments of processing tasks.

• Offer technical support to junior team members.

• Analyze and interpret pension plan regulations and relevant legislation.

• Address intricate member inquiries and ensure adherence to compliance.

• Work collaboratively with managers and the internal analyst team.

• Engage in the production and verification of annual statements and cyclical activities.

• Assist with special projects aimed at improving team efficiency.

• Identify and suggest enhancements to existing processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Defined Benefit pension plan administration.

• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel.

• Ability to perform manual calculations and independently validate system outputs.

• Excellent written communication and critical thinking abilities.

• Capability to navigate complex and diverse scenarios with minimal supervision.

• Proficient in multitasking and effectively managing time while ensuring high accuracy in a regulated setting.

• Outstanding attention to detail and analytical skills.

• Strong commitment to compliance with legal and regulatory standards.

• A collaborative attitude and willingness to mentor junior colleagues.

• Comfortable working independently in a remote setting with strong self-direction and initiative.

• Advanced proficiency in English is required.

• Bilingualism in French or Spanish is a valuable asset.

• Experience with pension administration software or systems is a desirable advantage.
