This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Lead intricate control system design, which includes I/O design, architecture, submittals, and testing documentation.

• Maintain and enhance technical expertise through training, publications, and engagement within the industry.

• Provide technical guidance across various projects and teams.

• Support business development by creating technical proposals and delivering presentations.

• Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely, precise, and cost-effective project delivery.

• Mentor engineers, offering expert technical, financial, and operational insights.

• Propel company design standards and quality through the Quality Management System (QMS).

• Communicate proactively and professionally with clients.

• Adhere to client-specific standards and protocols.

• Provide swift problem-solving assistance.

• Execute and supervise project tasks within schedule and budget constraints.

• Lead complete project lifecycles when assigned.

• Serve as the main point of contact for clients on assigned projects.

• Identify scope modifications and new business prospects.

• Delegate responsibilities and ensure team accountability.

• Accurately estimate timelines and manage project risks.

• Cultivate a collaborative and positive team environment.

• Direct and assist junior staff in construction, operations, and maintenance activities as necessary.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with applicable experience.

• Over 10 years of overall experience.

• At least 3 years as a Control Systems Project Engineer II (or equivalent role).

• Professional Engineering (PE) license and/or relevant industry certifications are preferred.

• Advanced leadership and decision-making skills.

• Capability to remain effective under pressure.

• Strong mindset for innovation and process improvement.

• Proven track record of motivating and mentoring engineers.

• Robust relationship-building skills within the industry.

• Commitment to ongoing professional development.

• Active involvement in industry organizations.

• Up to 50% overnight travel may be necessary.

• Participation in on-call rotation as required.

• A valid driver's license is mandatory.

• Must maintain fitness for duty at all times.

• Authorization to work in the country of employment is required.
