This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Lead the design of intricate control systems, encompassing I/O design, architecture, submittals, and testing documentation.
• Enhance and broaden technical knowledge through training, publications, and active participation in the industry.
• Provide technical guidance across various projects and teams.
• Assist in business development by preparing technical proposals and delivering presentations.
• Work in partnership with project managers to guarantee timely, precise, and cost-effective project delivery.
• Mentor engineers and offer expert advice across technical, financial, and operational areas.
• Champion the company's design standards and quality through the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Engage proactively and professionally with clients.
• Comply with client-specific standards and procedures.
• Deliver responsive problem-solving assistance.
• Execute and supervise project tasks within the established schedule and budget.
• Lead entire project lifecycles when designated.
• Act as the primary contact for clients on assigned projects.
• Recognize scope changes and new business prospects.
• Effectively delegate responsibilities and ensure team accountability.
• Accurately estimate timelines and manage project risks.
• Promote a collaborative and positive team environment.
• Guide and support junior staff in construction, operations, and maintenance activities as necessary.
• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, accompanied by relevant experience.
• Over 10 years of overall experience.
• At least 3 years of experience as a Control Systems Project Engineer II (or equivalent).
• Professional Engineering (PE) license and/or relevant industry certifications are preferred.
• Advanced capabilities in leadership and decision-making.
• Ability to maintain effectiveness under pressure.
• Strong focus on innovation and process enhancement.
• Demonstrated ability to inspire and mentor engineers.
• Excellent relationship-building skills within the industry.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.
• Active involvement in industry organizations.
• Up to 50% overnight travel may be necessary.
• Participation in on-call rotation as required.
• A valid driver's license is mandatory.
• Must be fit for duty at all times.
