This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Oversee intricate system design processes, including input/output design, architecture, submittals, and testing documentation.
• Continuously enhance expertise through training, publications, and involvement in industry activities.
• Offer technical guidance across various projects and teams.
• Aid business development efforts by creating technical proposals and delivering presentations.
• Work closely with project managers to ensure timely, accurate, and cost-effective project delivery.
• Mentor engineers and provide expert advice across technical, financial, and operational aspects.
• Promote company design standards and quality through the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Engage proactively and professionally with clients.
• Comply with client-specific standards and procedures.
• Deliver outstanding service and honor commitments.
• Offer responsive problem-solving assistance.
• Execute and manage project tasks to stay on schedule and within budget.
• Lead full project lifecycles when assigned responsibilities.
• Act as the primary contact for customers on assigned projects.
• Identify changes in scope and new business opportunities.
• Effectively delegate tasks and ensure accountability within the team.
• Accurately estimate timelines and manage project risks.
• Cultivate a collaborative and positive team environment.
• Direct and support junior staff in construction, operations, and maintenance as necessary.
• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with relevant experience.
• Over 10 years of overall experience.
• At least 3 years as a Control Systems Project Engineer II (or equivalent position).
• Professional Engineering (PE) license and/or relevant industry certifications are preferred.
• Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
• Capacity to remain effective under pressure.
• Robust mindset for innovation and process enhancement.
• Demonstrated ability to inspire and mentor engineers.
• Excellent relationship-building skills within the industry.
• Dedication to ongoing professional development.
• Active involvement in industry organizations.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% overnight as required.
• Participation in on-call rotation may be necessary.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Must be fit for duty at all times.
