This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee and assess proposals while monitoring significant contracts.
• Suggest and implement solutions to meet functional goals.
• Assist in critical negotiations and address intricate contractual and customer-related issues.
• Tackle performance challenges, identify potential risks, and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Ensure adherence to Revolution Space policies and government contracting standards.
• Build and nurture customer relationships.
• Manage all facets of the contracts portfolio, including proposal development, contract negotiation, contract management, and customer interaction activities.
• Collaborate with executive leadership, program managers, and cross-functional teams to enhance program and contract performance.
• Administer, negotiate, extend, and terminate both standard and nonstandard contracts.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers concerning contractual issues.
• Review and evaluate customer RFPs, SOWs, contract requirements, terms, and conditions.
• Ensure company proposals align with customer requirements and facilitate internal reviews prior to submission.
• Manage proposal fact-finding and engage in customer negotiations.
• Work alongside finance, supply chain, mission assurance, legal, and other functional teams throughout the contract lifecycle.
• Create solutions for routine and complex contractual issues while ensuring company compliance.
• Draft and manage written communications related to assigned contractual matters.
• Prepare and uphold proprietary information agreements, memoranda of understanding, and other related agreements.
• Maintain contract data within contract management and enterprise accounting systems.
• Provide direction and support to prime customers and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure contract compliance with FAR, DFARS, and other Department of Defense agency regulations.
• Travel to essential internal and external meetings as necessary.
• A Bachelor’s degree with 12 or more years of relevant experience; or a Master’s degree or Juris Doctor degree with 10 or more years of relevant experience.
• Comprehensive knowledge of government regulations, including FAR and DFARS.
• Experience with Firm Fixed Price, Time & Materials, Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity, and General Services Administration contracts.
• Practical experience with Other Transaction efforts.
• Background in commercial contracts from the selling side of contracts management.
• Capability to analyze complex information and data, solve intricate problems, and make sound business decisions.
• Ability to manage multiple contractual tasks with tight deadlines.
• Competence to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Strong analytical, communication, and presentation abilities.
• Skill in identifying and mitigating contract risks and coordinating reviews in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain relationships with internal and external customers.
• Willingness to travel for important internal and external meetings.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen due to contract stipulations.
• Applicants must be U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents of the U.S., or protected individuals under 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).
• Preferred: Master’s degree in business administration or a related field.
• Preferred: Certification in Contracts Management, such as CPCM or CFCM.
