This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the complete contract lifecycle management for intricate agreements, which includes drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts.
• Assess and provide substantial support on legal and business contractual terms.
• Counsel senior leaders on contractual risks, business implications, and recommended strategies.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Risk Management, Audit, Security, Product, Engineering, Operations, Finance, Sales and Marketing, Customer Account Executives, and Vendor Management.
• Ensure agreements align with NASCO delivery models, regulatory mandates, service commitments, and enterprise risk protocols.
• Create and maintain standardized contract templates.
• Enhance and support contract lifecycle management systems, workflows, dashboards, and reporting processes.
• Responsibly utilize AI-enabled and automation tools for contract review and workflow efficiency.
• Monitor and report contract performance metrics, including cycle times, volumes, non-standard terms, risk escalations, renewals, and stakeholder service levels.
• Confirm that agreements meet regulatory, security, and audit-readiness standards.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives across contract governance, intake, review, approval, renewal, and post-execution processes.
• Offer guidance on best practices in contract management.
• In-depth knowledge of commercial vendor, partner, and customer contract structures, covering data privacy, security, service levels, implementation services, SaaS, and renewal terms.
• Strong grasp of healthcare regulatory and compliance factors.
• Proficient in contract drafting, negotiation, and issue resolution.
• Robust commercial and business insight.
• Capability to identify, evaluate, communicate, and mitigate contractual risks while facilitating business enablement.
• Skill in advising senior leaders and influencing cross-functional stakeholders.
• Ability to develop, update, and manage contract templates and governance standards.
• Familiarity with contract lifecycle management systems, workflow automation, AI-enabled tools, dashboards, reporting, and contract performance metrics.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, prioritization, and organizational capabilities.
• Exceptional attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to work independently.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, legal studies, or a related discipline.
• 8 years of progressive experience in contracts management, including complex technology, SaaS, and various agreements.
• Proven experience in leading or participating in contract negotiations, advising senior stakeholders, managing risk escalations, and enhancing contract processes or governance.
• Must possess legal authority to work in the US.
• Preferred: knowledge of healthcare technology contracting environments.
• Preferred: experience in negotiating business associate agreements, data use agreements, and SaaS subscription terms.
• Preferred: familiarity with AI-enabled contract review, contract analytics, clause extraction, obligation tracking, or workflow automation tools.
• Preferred: 10 years of contracts management experience in regulated healthcare technology or a similarly complex sector.
• Preferred: experience in supporting digital transformation, product-led operating models, and modernization of contract operations.
• Preferred: experience with CLM, CRM, e-signature, and document management tools such as DocuSign, HubSpot, Gatekeeper, SharePoint, or similar platforms.
• Must be capable of using equipment at a workstation for up to 8 hours daily.
