This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.
β’ Develop and enhance processes and procedures for physician contracting.
β’ Create contract documents that accurately reflect the intentions of the parties, comply with legal and regulatory standards, and align with organizational strategies.
β’ Supervise and manage hospital physician contracts.
β’ Serve as a liaison between the Hospital Division and Medical Group regarding employment and independent contractor agreements.
β’ Oversee the contract lifecycle, customer service, and operational analysis for designated provider specialties.
β’ Coordinate the development, amendment, extension, and termination of contracts.
β’ Assist facilities in addressing contract-related issues.
β’ Draft contract language for unique situations and facilitate administrative or legal review.
β’ Monitor contract expirations and initiate actions for amendment, extension, or termination.
β’ Manage contract signatures and communicate new or modified contract information.
β’ Collaborate with Payroll and Human Resources on contract-related inquiries and negotiated payments or reimbursements.
β’ Prepare letters of intent, termination notices, compensation confirmations, and contract exception letters.
β’ Provide training support in Physician Contracting, PeopleSoft, and the requests process.
β’ Manage assigned initiatives, updates for PeopleSoft templates and library, database backups, or project timelines.
β’ Act as a resource for others and provide decision support to management.
β’ Ensure data integrity is maintained.
β’ An associate degree with four years of experience in physician contracting, a bachelor's degree with two or more years of physician contracting experience, or six years of physician contracting experience with Intermountain Healthcare.
β’ Education must be obtained from an accredited institution; degree verification will be conducted.
β’ Two years of experience in physician or service contracting.
β’ Four years of professional experience in contract development, management, or healthcare operations support.
β’ Ability to establish effective working relationships with colleagues, administrators, finance personnel, corporate staff, and physicians.
β’ Proficient in using word processing, spreadsheet, database, internet, email, and scheduling applications.
β’ High proficiency in using PeopleSoft or a Content Management System (CRM).
β’ Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
β’ Capable of organizing and prioritizing multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
β’ Attention to detail in grammar, spelling, proofreading, and punctuation.
β’ Ability to effectively communicate information to others.
β’ Competence in operating computers and office equipment.
β’ Ability to read from computer monitors and documents.
β’ Ability to remain seated or standing for extended periods while working.
